Vince Brady is a rare blend of size, finesse, and attitude—a big man with a soft touch and a fiery edge. Offensively, he brings a versatile inside-out game that makes him a matchup nightmare. He can score with his back to the basket using turnaround fadeaways, drop steps, and shoulder fakes, but what separates him is his shooting touch—particularly his ability to stretch the floor.

Brady is lethal in pick-and-pop situations. His high release and confidence from mid-range and beyond the arc force opposing bigs to step out, opening up space for guards and slashers. He doesn’t hesitate to let it fly, and when he’s in rhythm, he can knock down shots in bunches from 18 feet to the three-point line.

In the post, his footwork is clean, and his touch on turnaround jumpers—especially over his left shoulder—is nearly automatic. He can face up slower defenders, attack off the dribble, or pull up with a smooth mid-range J. His offensive skill set is polished, but it’s his swagger and intensity that make him a tone-setter.

Playmaking & Basketball IQ:

Brady is an unselfish forward who sees the floor well and can make smart passes out of the post or the high elbow. He knows how to punish double-teams and is more than capable of finding cutters or swinging the ball to open shooters. He plays with high-level awareness and doesn’t force offense—he knows when to go to work and when to move it.

Though not a high-assist guy by numbers, Brady understands the game and makes winning plays. He thrives in systems where the ball moves and players cut, and he elevates the offense with his passing instincts and floor-spacing.

Defensive Strengths:

Defensively, Brady brings toughness and intensity. He’s a strong post defender who uses his body well, contesting shots without needing to jump out of the gym. His timing and positioning allow him to block shots and alter attempts, especially as a help-side defender.

He can guard both frontcourt spots, capable of banging with big centers or switching onto skilled forwards. His mobility and effort make him effective in pick-and-roll coverage, especially when defending the mid-range. He talks, rotates, and holds teammates accountable—he’s a vocal presence and emotional anchor on that end of the floor.

He’s also a strong rebounder, particularly on the defensive end, where he uses his body and timing to secure boards and start fast breaks with quick outlets.
