The Turtle Mountain College Mighty Mikinocks are adding another talented player to their roster, as Kennley Davis from St. John High School has officially signed to continue her basketball career at the collegiate level.
Davis, a versatile guard, made a name for herself at St. John with her well-rounded skill set, strong defensive instincts, and ability to score in crucial moments. She posted impressive stats in her senior season, averaging 16.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.6 steals per game. Her relentless defensive pressure and scoring ability make her a valuable addition to Turtle Mountain’s backcourt.
Known for her ability to create plays on both ends of the court, Davis brings leadership and energy that will be a key asset to Turtle Mountain. Moreover, she will be one of the top defensive guards in Tribal college basketball her first season.
With tribal college basketball continuing to gain attention, Davis’ signing is another example of top Indigenous talent staying within the tribal college system and making an impact. Her transition to the collegiate level will be one to watch as she looks to make an immediate impact for Turtle Mountain.
