Overview
Benjamin OldPerson-Harlo is a rare offensive talent whose game is built on length, touch, and scoring versatility. He creates problems for defenses simply by stepping on the floor. With guard-like skill in a forward’s body, he scores efficiently from anywhere and does it without forcing the game. When he’s in rhythm, defenses are choosing between bad options.
Offensive Profile
OldPerson-Harlo is a true three-level scorer. He shoots comfortably over defenders thanks to his length and high release, making contests largely irrelevant. From the perimeter, he’s smooth and confident — capable of catch-and-shoot threes or one- and two-dribble pull-ups. He’s especially dangerous attacking closeouts, where he needs very little space to rise up.
In the mid-range, he’s surgical. Face-up jumpers, turnarounds, and quick pull-ups come naturally. He understands spacing and timing and consistently gets to his spots without wasted movement.
Around the rim, he finishes with touch rather than force — extending past defenders and using angles instead of contact. His scoring feels effortless, which is what makes it so difficult to guard.
Shot Creation
High-end creator for his size. Can score off isolations, broken plays, or late-clock situations. Comfortable taking the biggest shot without rushing it. Doesn’t need volume to be effective — efficiency is his calling card.
Handle & Mobility
Good handle for a forward. Smooth, controlled, and efficient. Can initiate offense when needed and is comfortable bringing the ball up to exploit matchups.
Passing & IQ
Underrated playmaker. Sees over defenses and makes simple, correct reads. Will hit shooters and cutters when help commits, keeping the offense flowing.
Defense
Uses length and positioning to be an effective defender at the forward spot. Solid team defender who understands rotations and contests shots well. Not flashy, but reliable and consistent.
Competitiveness & Intangibles
Calm, confident, and unbothered. Plays with a scorer’s mentality without forcing the action. Big-moment ready. When the game slows down, his value increases.
