Turtle Mountain College Men’s Basketball Signs Tayden Azure

The Turtle Mountain College Mighty Mikinocks are adding a major piece to their roster for next season, as Tayden Azure, a 6’5” freshman from Dunseith, ND, has officially committed to the program.

Azure brings an exciting combination of size, defense, and rebounding, making him a valuable addition to Turtle Mountain’s frontcourt. Playing for Flight 701, he showcased his all-around game, averaging 21.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. His ability to score both inside and from the perimeter, along with his strong rebounding and defensive versatility, will be key assets for the Mighty Mikinocks.

Head Coach Mike Vandal expressed his enthusiasm for Azure’s addition, stating:

“Tayden has the skill and size to make an impact right away. His ability to score and defend will help us a lot next season.”

With Azure joining the program, Turtle Mountain is looking to elevate its level of play and compete for a banner next season. His versatility and high basketball IQ make him an immediate contributor for the team.

Tayden Azure is the son of Eve and George Azure. Welcome to Turtle Mountain College!
