For the first time ever, teams will have the unique opportunity to host playoff series in their home gyms, bringing the high-stakes excitement and competitive spirit directly to their local fans. This pioneering format promises to deliver a memorable experience for both players and spectators, merging elite basketball action with hometown enthusiasm while cutting the normal cost of these type of events.

Playoffs Structure

The TCBN Playoffs feature two divisions based on the latest power rankings and acceptances of invitations, ensuring a competitive balance and showcasing top-tier basketball skills:

• Division 1: Comprising the top four teams from the power rankings that accept the invitation.
• Division 2: Including 2-4 teams, based on rankings and meeting certain criteria. 

Playoff Details

• First Round Hosting: The first and second seeds will host the first round series. This not only leverages their higher ranking by giving them home-court advantage but also maximizes their potential revenue from gate receipts.
• Championship Game Hosting: The highest-seeded team from the initial rounds will host the championship series, ensuring that the team with the best regular season record gains both a competitive and financial edge.
• Automatic Bid: The winner of the TCBN Tipoff Classic automatically qualifies for the playoffs, highlighting their early-season achievements. The division will be determined by their final rankings in the Power 15 rankings.
